The amount of people that think their body is going to drastically change without a change in nutrition is comically and entertainingly high. I’m sorry, but any workout program that promises to get you a six-pack abs is straight-up B.S.
If you are a part of this group. For one, don’t admit it.
But, there is also a talk we need to have.
I hate to tell you this, but if you’re looking for a change in how your body looks, nutrition actually comes first.
You can get Abs without working out (tiny ones, but still abs), but you can’t get abs without eating right (really, eating less).
The same goes for gaining more muscle. If you are not eating enough, there is nothing for your body to build with.
Energy in energy out. Calories in calories out. Building materials in and building materials out.
This is not a FAD.
How do I know this?
Because you know, laws of thermodynamics and all that.
