Man, today was one of those days. You know the one where you look at the workout. and you see a scary-ass amount of reps and a heavy as s*** weight. I’ve been squatting for over 10 years and even now, I have to psych myself up.
But, once that weight clears the supports, everything becomes laser-focused. Then it’s just life and death until finally, you set the weight down and relief, and satisfaction floods your body.
It’s that last feeling for why I keep squatting. Yes, it has numerous other benefits.
But, it’s that feeling that brings me back, that pushes me through that fear. The feeling of success.
