Being Lazy Not Only Makes Your Life Suck, It will Kill You
It blows my mind that 25-35% of the United States population is considered sedentary. Then we b**** and complain about our skyrocketing healthcare costs of $2.5 Trillion dollars a year.
Even though we have some pretty legit studies, including the one by Dr. Paffenbarger that studied 17,000 Harvard grads, and found that the men that burned at least 300 calories a day in exercise reduced their death rate by 28% of ALL causes of death and increased their average life span by 2 years.
Talk about a cheat code.
Not only do those numbers hurt my soul, but for those that are considered sedentary, I can’t even imagine what adventures in life they are missing out on.
On that note, I’m off to the gym.
