While I was planning on taking one more week off of just doing whatever I felt.
I’m ready to get back into it. This cycle isn’t entirely different then what I’ve been doing for fun. It’s mostly just going back to the basics.
The real difference for this base building cycle from previous years is a focus on the pull-up. With that goal at the forefront, it has to replace squat Mondays.
What is the cardio you see?
It’s really anything to keep blood pumping. If the engine isn’t healthy (the heart) the body isn’t healthy, and you can only do that by forcing your heart to work.
I’ve been working out with a group of guys doing easy calisthenics and that will be used to cover down on this base for the foreseeable future.
