Final block and a deload. Mixed feelings, but that’s typical going into a deload period.
Thought of the day:
Except at the height of racing season, I rarely look forward to deloads. I feel strong and excited to jump into a new cycle.
But, I know from last experience that it’s always been a huge mistake for both my athletes and me when we do skip.
Deloads are essential tools that not only allow us to recover mentally, but physically too.
Often rekindling our passion for training in the first place.
